What are the main differences between masturbation and real sex? In masturbation, you kind of jack off really quickly.. But in real sex, you see people going slowly...
I'm afraid that when I have sex, I won't be able to achieve orgasm because it's too slow!
Is that ludicrous? |
| No one wrote rules saying it has to be slow I think too many movies have this generic "making love," montage that isn't realistic to real life...You and that other person will gradually find a way of doing things together that you find most...um, satisfactory. You'll structure it around what both of you find important and most comfortable. |
Why should there be a difference between a wet dream, masturbation and real sex ? Real sex is the product of the perception of our world through our five sences. Dream sex is the perception of the world through our subconsous mind. Masturbation is the deliberate involvement of our conscious mind in the perception of the sex/fantacy. All lead to the same, orgasm. Why then is the highest value placed on real sex? You can trick the mind through hypnosis to achieve the same effect. |
All roads do lead to orgasm. However, "real sex", as you put it, is the most important outside of orgasm. If one needs or desires an orgasm It can be obtained in any manner. Like you said, you don't need anybody else. But, there is more than one person on the planet and God created us to be interdependent.
I have a theory that sex in the Garden of Eden, before the fall, was the highest form of communication & spiritual union between two people. I think we experience a watered down version of it. At the same time we place a high value on it i also think we treat it pretty cheaply. Anyway, when we have dream sex, we don't usually dream about masturbating, we dream of making love with someone else. It gets dicy when a relative shows up, however. Blech! But what i mean is, we want the other person. When we masturbate we don't fantasize about kitchen appliances or computers, we think of other people. People who have monogamous sex regularly, have happier marriages, live longer, are healthier, are more content in general, etc... We are hard wired to know that sex with someone else has the most value. I can always have an orgasm.... I want him. Now i just hope he shows up.
If you manipulate the mind with hypnosis it is being tricked into or out of something. In certain instances the mind is in a bad place and needs to get out and in others a deception can be put in place of what a mind knows to be good and true. The difference is that when hypnosis gets rid of a 'bad' thing, the mind will know it's better and not revert back to that state. When hypnosis tries to fool the mind out of something good & true, it will find it's way back to that state naturally.
You are amazingly intelligent & sensitive. I hope you threw this on the table as something for us all to explore not because you actually assign the same values to all three scenarios of sex you put forth. You'd be too good in bed to waste this theory on yourself. Are you considering giving up women? Don't experiment on yourself. I really enjoy your mind and your q & a's. |
MEN ONLY: How different/or close is masturbation to real sex? I am 19 year old male and i never had sex till now. But i was wondering, for those who used to masturbate and have had sex, is their any relation between the two actiosn? What i mean is, how can i know my real duration in sex from masturbation? If i masturbate for 30 min, is that a good sign of long sex or sex experience is totally different? How can i practice for better sex by masturbating? Experienced men pls. |
| Masturbation can be good "practice" for sex. But you very likely won't last even close to 30 mins the first time you have sex. I certainly didn't. You may even have trouble getting and erection, some guys do. If you use a mental technique when masturbating to go longer try the same thing when you have sex. It should work, but your first time probably will be quick. Also a woman may be "wetter" or "tighter" than anything you could use for masturbation. Your climax, of course, will feel similar but the feel of the vagina will be different. And as always make sure you use birth control. If she isn't on birth control, use a condom. You may want to use a condom anyway. They sometimes make the penis less sensitive and you may last longer. Bottom line whether you last or are quick don't worry about it. Enjoy it. |
What is the usual time of period of ejaculation between masturbation and real sexual intercourse? what is the usual time of period of ejaculation between masturbation and real sexual intercourse?is there any difference between masturbation and sexualintercourse in the sense of ejaculation period normally? |
Surely there is a difference in the timing..!
because..,
during masturbation
you work with HANDS and not with your body..!
but during the real part..,
your WHOLE BODY gets into action..!
it may lasts longer for 2 to 10 minutes..,
depending upon the person..! |
How come my body doesn't feel the same after masturbation ejaculating vs. real sex ejaculating? After masturbation, my body feels tired, don't want to be bothered, and mind feels foggy.
After real sex, my body still feels tired but I also feel like I accomplished something and truly satisfied within. |
The feeling of accomplishment comes from trying to please another with the knowledge that you are also going to be pleased (satisfied).
Masturbation is a release of pent up sexual frustrations and hence the claiming, relaxing effect. |
Are the myths behind masturbation real? are the myths behind masturbation real?
my friends told me that everytime men masturbate, he is vulnerable to weight loss, and that he may end up underwieght, is this correct? i just masturbated at least once a week, since i am 120lbs, and i dont want to lose weight. please help. |
It's hard for me to believe that in this age of information, that boys still think these myths are true. Common sense tells me that they are not. How many men do you know are walking around with:
Hairy palms,
Masturbation induced blindness,
Weight loss,
Brain damage, etc.
There are darn few pubescent boys or full grown men who don't do it...and the few who don't were made to feel guilty about doing it and are miserable because of it.
Enjoy yourself once in awhile. Just don't let it interfere with the rest of your life. |
GIRLS: Is the climax for masturbation and the real sex the same? Never had sex, so I never knew how it felt like. I just wanted to know. Serious answers only please.
I mean does the climax of masturbation feel the same with the climax of the real sex?
Can you tell me the feeling, the differences and the similarities? Thanks. |
Its essentially the same for me, as far as the physical surge going through me. I tend to be a moving more during sex, so I notice more sensation throughout my body. I also enjoy the emotional connection and the extra turn on of having someone else involved.
I know some women say that sex orgasms aren't as strong for them. But they are always better for me. |
Clarification?..."Philosophy is to the real world as masturbation is to sex."? A philosopher by the name of Karl Marx said "Philosophy is to the real world as masturbation is to sex" can somebody help clarify what exactly you believe he was trying to say. |
| Exactly what it says. How many people know how to do life without practice? |
GIRLS AND GUYS: Does the climax for masturbation and the climax for the real sex have the same feeling? Never had sex, so I never knew how it felt like. I just wanted to know. Serious answers only please.
I mean does the climax of masturbation feel the same with the climax of the real sex?
Can you tell me the feeling, the differences and the similarities? Thanks. |
| I am typically more aroused during sexual intercourse as opposed to masturbation. The climax during intercourse is typically stronger because i have a lot of sexual stimuli such as my partners, skin, physique, moaning (ha ha), and of coarse the actual physical connection. So if it is any help just the actual presence of someone else touching me and kissing me makes the climax more intense and pleasurable. |
What is the real link between the Masturbation and our Mental Health ? I just really dont get how one's mental health is cured or stress is reduced after Masturbation ..
What is the actual link between our sperm duct and the brain . .
How is it really possible . .
Any biological ( please not with much biological words ) or Any very useful info with links are highly Appreciable ..
Thanks |
Stress is reduced, and sexual tension, as well as being healthier for the prostate.
At least that's what my voices tell me........lol
There is no link between the "sperm duct" and the brain.
There are nerve connections which is why we experience pleasure in sex and masturbation.
There is also a deep-seated desire for sex, and orgasm, which is psychologically satisfying, and is one of the reasons that human beings have survived and increased. |
